Job summary

Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology imaging, CT imaging, fluoroscopy and related procedures. You will ensure image quality, adhere to radiation safety standards, and provide safe patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program with Florida licensure and BLS certification is required. No prior experience is necessary, but professionalism and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography Program.
• Florida Radiologic Technology License Required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology imaging including routine, mobile, OR, fluoroscopy, and emergency procedures.
• Perform routine CT imaging including head, abdomen, pelvis and chest procedures.
• Ensure imaging quality and radiation safety per State and Federal regulations.
• Provide safe patient care and communicate with patients and staff.
• Participate in on-call rotation as determined by department needs.

Department: Radiology - Diagnostics

Work Type: Full Time

Shift: Shift 2/8:30:00 AM to 5:00:00 PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$26.25 - $34.12 / hour

Summary

"Performs diagnostic radiology imaging including routine, mobile, OR, fluoroscopy, and emergency procedures. Performs routine CT imaging including head, abdomen, pelvis and chest procedures. Complies with State and Federal regulations for radiation usage and safety. Evaluates and determines diagnostic image quality of recorded images. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and training. May transport non-narcotic medication as directed. Required to participate in ""on call"" rotation as determined per specific department needs."
