Job summary

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) in Gravette, Arkansas, seeks a full-time weekend Radiology CT Technician for the Radiology department. You will perform CT procedures independently or under a physician’s supervision, ensuring high-quality images and patient comfort.

Requirements include a Radiologic Technology program graduate, ARRT/CT registration within 1 year, Arkansas radiation certification and BLS, with a preference for 1 year of radiology experience under a Board Certified Radiologist.

Qualifications

  • BS preferred but not required; Radiologic Technology program graduation required/preferred.
  • ARRT certification/CT registration within 1 year of hire.
  • Arkansas state radiation certification required.
  • BLS certification to be maintained.
  • One year experience with a Board Certified Radiologist preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiology/CT procedures following established policies and protocols.
  • Work under physician supervision to produce optimal images.
  • Maintain patient comfort, confidentiality and safety throughout procedures.
  • Adhere to CME requirements and radiology department standards.

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, Arkansas, is seeking a full time weekend Radiology CT Technician to join our Radiology department.

The Radiology CT Technician independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology/CT procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required.
  • Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 1 year of hire.
  • Certified by the State of Arkansas to practice and administer radiation.
  • Registered in CT within 1 year of hire unless unable to meet exam requirement, then must meet with manager to make arrangements to fulfill exam requirements.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire or BLS certification must be obtained during orientation period or at next available scheduled class. Throughout employment, current BLS certification must be maintained by renewal during renewal period or at next available scheduled class.
  • One year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty (ies) as appropriate.
