Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The role involves operating a Siemens Somatom Plus 128-slice CT and using Meditech for EMR and FUJI Synapse for PACS, with weekend coverage in a small imaging team and adult ED patient mix.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT CT certification, a Kansas KSBHA license, and at least 6 months of CT experience. Weekend shifts and a fast-paced hospital environment are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures including CT Head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, CTA chest, neck, abdomen, and CTA cardiac studies.
• Occasionally perform CT lumbar and thoracic spine studies and CT Head stroke protocols.
• Work independently, managing patient procedures and working collaboratively with other departments.
• Assist with X-ray as needed, especially if the X-ray tech is in the operating room.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be working in an adult 64-bed hospital with a 12-bed adult ICU and a 14-bed emergency department. The imaging department on weekends consists of one MRI tech, one X-ray tech, one ultrasound tech (Saturday only), and one CT tech. The majority of CT patients will be adult ED patients, with some pediatric scans possible, in addition to adult inpatients as ordered. The technologist will operate a Siemens Somatom Plus 128 slice CT and utilize Meditech for EMR and FUJI Synapse for PACS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures including CT Head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, CTA chest, neck, abdomen, and CTA cardiac studies.
• Occasionally perform CT lumbar and thoracic spine studies and CT Head stroke protocols.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 6 months of CT tech experience.
• Must be registered with ARRT and possess a Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) license.

Certifications/Licensure
