Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Terre Haute, Indiana. The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ CT experience, a radiologic technologist license, ARRT CT certification, and BLS. You will work 12-hour days on weekends, with shift rotations and IV start responsibilities.

There are two CT scanners, with some cross-covering in other radiology areas. Proficiency with EMR/PACS systems (Allscripts, Centricity, Meditech, Epic) is expected, as is the ability to work

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Valid Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT CT certification.
• BLS certification required and IV start capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging studies including CTA, stroke protocols, head/neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis.
• Operate CT scanners and manage patient care with attention to safety.
• Document procedures in EMR/PACS and coordinate with radiologists via teleradiology as needed.
• Assist with coverage and floating to other areas as required.

General Certification Requirements:BLS certification is required.ARRT and other specialty certification requirements apply.

Department Information:The department has 2 scanners/rooms.Floating or covering other areas may be required, possibly X-ray.

Common Types of Imaging/Studies Performed:CTA, Stroke protocols, head/neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis.

Average Number of Scans/Studies Per Day:Approximately 15.

EMR & PACS:Current systems include Centricity and Meditech, transitioning to Fuji and Epic in January 2027.

Department Specific Equipment:GE equipment is used.

Radiology Oversight:There is no Radiology Supervisor or Lead Technologist on each shift.Registered Radiology Assistants are not utilized.Radiologists are not in-house; teleradiology is employed.

IV Start Requirement:Starting IVs is necessary for the position.

Shifts & Scheduling:Self-scheduling is allowed with manager approval.

Weekend Requirements:Every third weekend is required unless contracted otherwise.

Holiday Requirements:1-2 holidays may be required.

On-Call Requirement:Call is every 4th-5th week with a response time of 1 hour.

Scrub Color/Dress Code:Maroon or teal scrubs are required.

Cancellation Policy:No specific cancellation policy is in place.

Charting System:Allscripts is used for charting.
