Description:This position requires a Cath Lab Tech to work Monday through Friday.Weekend rotation and call requirements are part of this role.The Cath Lab is designed to accommodate cardiac patients requiring diagnostic and interventional procedures.Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment, monitoring patients, and assisting with various cardiac procedures.Skills necessary for this position include accurate monitoring, cardiac intervention techniques, and proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring.The unit treats adult and geriatric patients.Daily patient census averages around 8.The lab shares operations with interventional radiology, performing procedures related to dialysis catheters and other interventions.Interdisciplinary support is available from various healthcare services.Procedures involve managing cardiac patients with conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
