Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Radiology Care Tech for the Arlington Memorial location. You will support patient care, assist radiologic staff, and help maintain a safe, efficient radiology suite.

The role is part-time, requires a HS diploma, and may prefer an associate degree in a health-related field. Certifications such as CMRT/ARRT/LMRT/NCT/CNA/EMT or BCLS are valued, with on-site service and a strong team focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Health Information or health-related field preferred.
• CMRT/ARRT/LMRT/NCT/CNA/EMT certifications preferred or required.
• BCLS certification prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares radiology exam rooms and supplies for patient care.
• Reviews physician orders and exam requisitions for continuity of care.
• Obtains patient history and verifies exam appropriateness with radiologic technologist.
• Identifies patient using two forms of ID and ensures correct exam.
• Provides age-appropriate psychosocial care and communication with patients.
