Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a compassionate team member to provide non-technical support to Radiology staff. You will assist with patient transport, preparation for examinations and room readiness to expedite care.

Duties include greeting patients, handling paperwork, clerical tasks, assisting in examinations and maintaining supplies. Enrollment in an associate or bachelor’s degree medical imaging program is required, with plans for hospital-based radiologic school enrollment when eligible.

Qualifications

• Requires enrollment in an associate or bachelor’s degree medical imaging program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and transports them to imaging areas.
• Answers telephone and routes calls.
• Performs clerical functions as required.
• Assists in patient preparation and completion of examinations.
• Ensures necessary supplies are available and stocked.
• Assists radiology staff with imaging studies.
