Job summary

Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine seeks a fellowship-trained Body Imaging Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.

The successful candidate will interpret abdominal, pelvic, and cardiothoracic imaging, participate in multidisciplinary care, and contribute to teaching residents and fellows in a large academic health system.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained in Body Imaging Radiology.
• Board certified in Radiology or eligibility in the U.S.
• Experience with abdominal, pelvic, and cardiothoracic imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret a wide range of body imaging studies across abdomen, pelvis, and chest.
• Engage in multidisciplinary conferences and clinical collaboration.

Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained Body Imaging Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging. Our primary clinical site, Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC), is located in Maywood, Illinois, just 12 miles from downtown Chicago.

Position Overview

We are seeking a diagnostic Body Imaging Radiologist with expertise across the broad spectrum of abdominal, pelvic, and cardiothoracic imaging. Candidates will enjoy a diverse and intellectually stimulating case mix spanning oncologic, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, genitourinary, pulmonary, and cardiovascular imaging within a large academic health system.

Candidates with interests in subspecialty clinical programs, advanced imaging techniques, and multidisciplinary collaboration are particularly encouraged to apply.

You will work in a modern imaging environment featuring:

• Visage PACS
• PowerScribe 360 dictation
• Epic EMR integration
• A growing suite of AI-enabled tools
• State-of-the-art imaging technology, including 1.5T and 3T MRI, advanced multi-detector CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.

Our clinical practice is supported by a group of excellent, capable, and independent residents and fellows, allowing for an engaging and collaborative academic experience.

Call Responsibilities

Call expectations are designed with balance in mind:

• Approximately 7 weekends per year, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Evening swing shifts from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
• All evening and weekend call duties are performed remotely from home using fully integrated workstations
• Moonlighting opportunities available
