Job summary

Munson Healthcare in northern Michigan is seeking a dedicated team member to provide direct patient care and support within the radiology department. You will assist technologists, nurses, and radiologists with patient preparation, questionnaires, and workflow while helping maintain a safe, organized environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (or obtaining within six months of hire).

• Perform departmental and communication tasks: stocking, supply checks, room/equipment cleaning, and responding to inquiries from clinicians, staff, and patients.

Job Description

A Day inthe Life

• Provide Direct Patient Care & Support: Greet and assist patients and families, obtain vital signs, help with dressing/undressing, transport or ambulate patients, ensure comfort, and maintain a clean, stocked, and safe environment.
• Assist with Radiologic Procedures & Workflow: Support technologists, nurses, and radiologists with patient preparation, questionnaires, positioning, verifying orders, gathering required pre-procedure information, performing data entry, coordinating patient flow, and adhering to radiation and MRI safety standards.
• Perform Departmental & Communication Tasks: Handle stocking, supply checks, room/equipment cleaning, CREED checklists, errands, and respond to inquiries from clinicians, staff, and patients both in person and by phone.

Schedule:

Week 1 Mon/Tue/Fri 8a-6p, Sat 8a-8p

Every other weekend rotation
