Job summary

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility in Denison, TX, seeks a Nurse Aide/Medical Assistant to assist in patient procedures, transport, clerical work, and maintain clean, stocked work areas.

Preferred candidates have a High School diploma or GED and up to 1 year of patient care experience; BLS certification is required during orientation, with strong interpersonal and keyboarding abilities to excel in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency. High School graduate/GED equivalent preferred.
• One year of recent medical or patient care experience as a Nurse Aide or Medical Assistant preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting.
• Requires exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and general computer keyboarding skills.
