Overview

We are seeking a board-certified Radiologist for onsite locum tenens coverage at a multispecialty clinic in Northeast Iowa. This opportunity requires two days of coverage per month, with no weekends or call. The physician will provide diagnostic imaging services, perform fluoroscopy and image-guided procedures, and consult with referring providers and clinical staff.

Setting

• Multispecialty outpatient clinic
• Approximately 15-20 cases per day
• Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with a small pediatric population
• Support from certified radiology technologists, ultrasonographers, and mammography technologists
• EMR: Cerner

Schedule

• Two - two-and-a-halfweekdays per month
• 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
• No weekends or call
• Start as soon as credentialing is completed

What you will be doing

• Interpret diagnostic studies, including MRI, CT, musculoskeletal imaging, and general and pediatric ultrasound
• Perform fluoroscopy procedures, including:
  • Upper GI studies and esophagrams
  • Lumbar punctures
  • Diaphragm sniff tests
  • Fluoroscopy-guided hip and shoulder steroid injections
• Perform dynamic infant hip ultrasound examinations
• Provide consultation to referring providers and clinical staff

What you must have

• Board certification in Radiology
• Active Iowa medical license preferred; candidates with an IMLC Letter of Qualification will be considered
• Proficiency in the diagnostic imaging modalities and procedures listed above

Other Information

• Compensation: $400/hour+ (negotiable)
• Housing and travel expenses, including rental car and airfare or mileage, are reimbursed. TEEMA can arrange housing or reimburse you for accommodations, based on your preference.
