Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a Radiologist – Breast Imaging for a locum tenens assignment in central Illinois. The role is M-F 8a-5p, with no call and no weekends, in a cancer center/hospital setting.

Responsibilities include ultrasound-guided biopsy, mammo/tomo biopsies, and MRI-guided procedures, using EPIC, Radiant, Clario, and Powerscribe EMRs. Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO with an active Illinois license, ABR board certification in radiology, and preferably breast imaging fellowship training with

Qualifications

• MD or DO with medical license in Illinois.
• Board certification in radiology required; fellowship in breast imaging preferred.
• MQSA certification required.
• Active license and privileges at a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

• Cover radiology duties for breast imaging in a cancer center/hospital.
• Perform ultrasound-guided biopsy, mammo/tomo guided biopsy, MRI-guided biopsies and localizations.
• Collaborate with technologists, RNs, and MOAs; no call and no weekends.

Our client in a beautiful Central Illinois college town is seeking a breast imaging radiologist to cover as soon as credentialed on an on-going basis until enough permanent staff are hired.

Setting/Schedule

• Cancer center/hospital
• M-F 8a-5p
• No call, no weekends
• Support staff include abundant technologists, RNs, MOAs
• Patient population: 1% Adolescent, 40% adult, 59% Geriatrics
• EMR(s): EPIC, Radiant, Clario, Powerscribe

Procedures

• Ultrasound guided biopsy
• mammo/tomo guided biopsy,
• MRI guided biopsy and localizations for surgery.

What you must have

• MD or DO
• Active Illinois license
• Board certification in radiology
• Preferably fellowship trained in breast imaging
• MQSA certification

Compensation

• $400/hour+ (Call for details)
