Job summary

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a highly skilled Radiologist for consistent weekday onsite coverage at Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vallejo, CA. The role blends diagnostic imaging with breast imaging, biopsy procedures, and light IR in a collaborative hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will have an MD or DO, ABR certification or eligibility, proven mammography and interventional skills, and an active California medical license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Demonstrated clinical competency in mammography and light interventional procedures.
• Active, unrestricted California Medical License (or ability to obtain).
• Commitment to onsite, in-person patient care (no teleradiology).

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging: Interpret MRI, CT, and Ultrasound.
• Breast Imaging & Intervention: Diagnostic and screening mammography; stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
• Light Interventional Radiology (IR): Time-sensitive image-guided procedures (e.g., CT-guided biopsies, lumbar punctures).
• Onsite Collaboration: Weekday coverage with emergency, oncology, and surgical teams to ensure rapid diagnosis and patient safety.
