Job summary

Software Placement Group in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to lead its imaging services and head a dedicated Breast Imaging Center within a growing regional network.

You will interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, and breast ultrasound, perform biopsies, collaborate with clinicians, ensure MQSA compliance, and drive adoption of AI tools and workflow improvements in a broader women’s imaging platform.

Qualifications

• Formal training in Breast Imaging with subspecialty focus.
• Board-certified radiologist with fellowship in women’s imaging or breast imaging.
• Experience interpreting screening and diagnostic breast studies.

Responsibilities

• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, and breast ultrasound.
• Perform breast biopsies including ultrasound-guided and stereotactic techniques.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical teams for patient-centered care.
• Provide MQSA oversight, imaging protocols, quality standards, and safety.
• Lead in case conferences, departmental meetings and ongoing learning.
• Support integration of advanced imaging tech, AI tools, and workflow enhancements.

Overview

A well-established breast imaging center located in a vibrant Detroit suburb is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to lead its imaging services. This role offers the opportunity to head a dedicated Breast Imaging Center, working alongside a dynamic team of women's health and radiology professionals in a growing regional healthcare network.

What you'll do

• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, and breast ultrasound studies
• Perform breast biopsies, including ultrasound-guided and stereotactic procedures
• Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical teams to ensure exceptional patient-centered care
• Provide oversight on MQSA compliance, imaging protocols, quality standards, and patient safety
• Engage in case conferences, departmental meetings, and continuous learning initiatives
• Support the integration of advanced imaging technology, AI tools, and workflow enhancements

Required qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited U.S. medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Diagnostic Radiology
• Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship training in Women's Imaging, Mammography, or Body Imaging
