Job summary

Maimonides Health in Brooklyn seeks a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to join a busy, expanding academic IR practice. This is a 100% IR role with inpatient/outpatient consults and full procedural coverage.

The team includes NPs, RAs and radiology residents, with two ESIR positions annually; facilities include a biplane and multiple angio suites, plus dedicated CT/US equipment. We collaborate with trauma, stroke, breast, prostate programs and offer oncology treatments at Brooklyn’s

Qualifications

• Board-certified Interventional Radiologist.
• Interest in resident education is essential.
• There are extensive diagnostic and IR moonlighting opportunities.
• Fellows, junior and senior interventionalists welcome.

Responsibilities

• This is a 100% IR position. Our inpatient/outpatient consult service, with admitting privileges, performs the full gamut of IR procedures.
• Our team includes NP’s, RA’s and Radiology residents, with 2 ESIR positions per year.
• At our main campus, we have one biplane, several single plane and hybrid/OR angio suites.
• We have dedicated CT/US equipment.
• We have a collaborative relationship with clinical teams supporting various programs including Level I Trauma, Stroke, Breast, Prostate, PE, Fibroid, etc. We perform state-of-the‑art Oncology treatments as part of Brookyn’s only dedicated Cancer Center. We participate in and conduct numerous interdisciplinary conferences.
