Job summary

Zeno Power is seeking a Work Control Specialist for its Bay Area radiological facility. You will develop radiological work control procedures, create and review work packages, and coordinate safety planning across projects.

You will collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure safe, compliant execution. Daily in-office work and occasional travel are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Health Physics, Radiation Protection, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or related discipline, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of radiological work control or nuclear operations experience.
• Experience writing and reviewing permits and procedures.
• Strong understanding of ALARA and regulatory frameworks.
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Able to manage multiple simultaneous tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage radiological and non-radiological work control procedures and documentation.
• Develop and shepherd work packages for radiological and non-radiological work, including subcontracted work.
• Coordinate radiological safety planning for routine and non-routine work.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations to embed controls.
• Lead plans of the week/day meetings guiding radiological work.
• Interface with internal project managers for the radiological facility.
• Participate in audits and regulatory inspections as needed.
• Coordinate with landlord's work control planning and operations.
