Job Summary:

Our Cath Lab is looking for a qualified Cardiovascular Radiographer - EP Tech I. This health care professional, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified cardiologist, performs procedures on adult patients resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart arrhythmias while maintaining maximum patient safety. EP Tech I is primarily responsible for employing imaging techniques, operating other related equipment, and assisting the cardiologist during procedures.

Job Description:

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

• Must be RT, licensed in the state where work is being performed, and registered as a RT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Specialized Knowledge:

• CPR certification.

Kind and Length of Experience:

• Two-year experience as an RT or one year as a Cath Lab tech/special procedure tech.
