Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Florence Medical Center is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to join the Diagnostic Radiology team. The role requires proficiency in two or more imaging modalities, clear patient communication, and producing diagnostic images for interpretation.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Must be ARRT registered. Licensure from SC Radiation Quality Standards Association required.

Job Description

Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities. Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner.

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology

License/Certification

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
