Overview
Provides radiographic services, including nitric patients positioning, performing radiographic exposures, and operating and maintaining radiographic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Position patients appropriately for radiographic examinations.
- Perform radiographic exposures in accordance with protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment.
- Assist physicians and other medical staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
- Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Required Licensure/Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association, Florida State License (Radiologic Technologist), and ARRT certification. Must provide proof of program completion and temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license at hire; obtain Florida State license within 30 days of hire.
- Required Experience: Less than one year of radiological experience and formal training.
- Necessary Skills: Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices.
