Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with department protocols. The role includes patient positioning, image labeling, radiation safety, and timely PACS transmission.
Responsibilities extend to maintaining RIS data, equipment cleanliness, supervising students, and supporting physicians while adhering to infection control and safety standards.
Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with departmental protocols.
Conducts routine radiological procedures, assists in patient positioning, and provides patient education about imaging processes. Ensures all images are correctly labeled, shielded, and adhere to radiation safety standards. Evaluates image quality, transmits images to PACS promptly, maintains equipment cleanliness, and records patient data accurately in the Radiology Information System. Supports physicians, supervises students, and performs clerical duties as needed. Adheres to infection control policies and reports equipment issues.
An associate degree or equivalent from an accredited radiologic technology program, with six months to one year of related experience or training. Holds valid licensure or temporary permit from the relevant state health department, with permits valid for 180 days. Demonstrates technical judgment, attention to detail, communication skills, and knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
Maintains licensure compliance, participates in professional development, and works collaboratively within a diverse healthcare environment.
