Job summary

Premier Health Urgent Care in Ohio is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic tests and film exposures while adhering to OSHA guidelines and surveillance. You will ensure compliance with the Ohio Department of Health and, when applicable, the American College of Radiology standards.

The ideal candidate holds Ohio licensure and CPR certification, with preferred experience in a physician office or hospital.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiographic technology program.
  • Must be licensed in Ohio and CPR certified.
  • Prefer extensive experience in a physician office or hospital.
  • Independent thinker and self-motivated to achieve high patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiology tests and film exposures.
  • Provide OSHA guidelines and surveillance.
  • Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Health (ODH).
  • Comply with American College of Radiology (ACR) guidelines when applicable.

FT / 72 hours per pay period

Summary Of Position

The Radiology Technologist (RT) is responsible for performing radiological tests and film exposures, for providing OSHA guidelines and surveillance, for compliance with ODH (Ohio Department of Health), and if applicable, the ACR (American College of Radiology).

Nature and Scope

The Radiology Technologist discretely handles a high volume of confidential, sensitive and personal information on a daily basis. The person ensures that priorities are met, delays are minimized, and resources are used to accomplish all tasks efficiently.

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited course for radiographic technology.
  • Must be licensed in the State of Ohio and must maintain CPR certification.
  • Must be an independent thinker and be self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.
  • It is preferred that the individual have extensive documented experience in a physician office or hospital.
