Job summary

Argonne National Laboratory is seeking an all-source analyst in the Strategic Security Sciences Division. You will collect and analyze radiological and nuclear data, transform datasets into actionable information, and prepare briefings on methodology and results.

Qualifications

  • Contributes to analytical products, develops, evaluates, and applies analytical approaches.
  • Experience in nuclear and radiological material protection, control, and accountability.
  • All-source analyst within a matrix organization.
  • Proven ability to communicate analyses and results effectively in reports.
  • Experience in non-proliferation activities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time and organize work.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and analyzes raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and other helpful information related to radiological and nuclear security.
  • Transforms datasets into meaningful information to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Performs source scientific and technical information analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Develops new analytic tools and datasets.
  • Prepares briefings and reports on analysis methodology and results.
  • Builds and expands skill sets through educational opportunities.
