Job summary

Santa Rosa Junior College invites applications for a Clinical Coordinator in the Health Sciences Department to oversee the radiologic technology program’s clinical education and placement. The role acts as liaison between the academic program and clinical sites to ensure hands-on training and adherence to accreditation standards.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and ARRT certification, plus a California Radiologic Technologist license and a fluoroscopy permit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) related experience; OR the equivalent.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current Radiologic Technologist license issued by California Department of Public Health / Radiologic Health Branch; AND
• Current California Fluoroscopy permit.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain clinical sites for radiologic technology students.
• Track and review students' clinical performance and competencies weekly.
• Coordinate clinical placements from primary to secondary rotations.
• Maintain relationships with clinical affiliates and travel up to 100 miles as needed.
• Ensure accreditation and regulatory compliance for clinical experiences.
• Act as on-site Radiation Safety Officer and support program director.
• Stay current with program content and instructional methods.
• Participate in didactic/clinical instruction and committee work.
