Job summary

UVM Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital seeks a Clinical Instructor to oversee radiologic technology education. You will supervise clinical training, evaluate student progress, and counsel learners within the hospital setting.

Requirements include NYS licensure, ARRT registration, an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, and hospital technologist experience. Completion of ASRT Clinical Instructor Academy and JRCERT approval within one year are expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed by NYS Department of Health and ARRT registered.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum two years’ hospital staff technologist experience.
• Demonstrated instructional and evaluative skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in student image critique and counseling.
• ASRT Clinical Instructor Academy completed; JRCERT standards within one year.
• Must be an approved Clinical Instructor with JRCERT within one year.

Responsibilities

• Supervises clinical education and evaluates student progress.
• Maintains records and counsels students in the clinical setting.
• T eaches classes as appropriate.
• Communicates effectively with students, physicians, and staff.
• Ensures compliance with JRCERT standards.
