Location - Roanoke, VA, USA

Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, ensuring that images are submitted or transmitted to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Carefully unload the portable X-ray equipment and bring it into facilities to conduct exams as ordered by the physician. It is essential to obtain clinically diagnostic and technically proficient X-ray images.
• As needed, perform EKGs and transmit the results to a Cardiologist for interpretation, when required.
• On a daily basis, scan relevant exam paperwork and billing documents in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management, and ensure efficient interaction with peers, supervisory staff, and clients in a professional manner.
• Consistently uphold the care of the vehicle and X-ray equipment.

Requirements

• Maintain all required state licenses and/or ARRT certification, as well as meet health and operational requirements.
• Possess a valid driver's license in the applicable state that remains in good standing at all times.
