Job summary

Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney, Nebraska is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology team. You will perform diagnostic radiology procedures under the direction of a radiologist, ensuring high quality images and patient safety.

The rotating schedule is 40 hours one week and 36 the next, with seven consecutive days on and off and every other weekend. Nebraska licensure and ARRT certification are required, with a preferred 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology program.
• Nebraska Radiologic Technologist license required.
• ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology and CT procedures.
• Position patients and adjust immobilization devices for optimum views.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians and staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Move equipment and position patients; set exposure factors.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure infection control and QA standards.
• Assess correlation of clinical history with tests.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
