Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; NM Radiography Tech (RRT) or Temp NM Radiography Tech credential.
  • ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred with ability to obtain ARRT within one year.
  • Associate degree preferred; active BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains department policies, procedures, and safety.
  • Performs radiographic examinations.
  • Checks equipment, supplies, and accessories regularly.
  • Maintains stock for each radiography room.
  • Develops film and evaluates technical quality.
  • Keeps work areas clean and organized.
  • Transports patients to radiography room and prepares space.
  • Participates in educational programs and attends required meetings.

Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 0.90 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: Nights (United States of America)

Responsibilities
  • Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance, and safety.
  • Performs radiographic examinations.
  • Checks equipment, supplies, and accessories on a regular basis.
  • Required to maintain the required stock of supplies for each radiography room.
  • Develops film including evaluating film for technical quality.
  • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
  • Transports patients to radiographic room (at times also back to room or ER); prepares and maintains room.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.
  • Attends meetings as required.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED NM Radiography Tech (RRT) or Temp NM Radiography Tech Rad Tech-Radiography ARRT R.T.(R) BLS Certification is required at the time of hire. Associate degree preferred. Employee will have a period of 1 year to obtain ARRT certification.
