The Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist performs routine x-ray examinations according to policies, practices, and regulations under direct supervision. This role requires delivering efficient, accurate patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, quality, and excellent patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, assist with positioning, and explain procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Operate radiologic equipment, adjust controls, and produce diagnostic images following established standards.
• Use radiation safety measures and protection devices.
• Maintain equipment, perform calibration, QA/QC, and report malfunctions.
• Complete all documentation accurately and ensure workflow adherence.

Medical Assistant Duties

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for examinations, including vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, and other tests.
• Assist providers, perform routine procedures, and triage patients as needed.
• Maintain supplies, clean and organize rooms, and operate medical devices responsibly.
• Handle clerical tasks, including patient check-in/out, documentation, and communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with applicable state certification.
• Active ARRT certification and CPR/First Aid certification.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum six months of medical assistant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational medicine requirements is a plus.
• Strong customer service, communication, and confidentiality skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical documentation systems.
