Job summary

OHSU in Portland is seeking a Radiologic Technologist - Student Flex to support Diagnostic Imaging. The role is a relief/flex position with variable days and hours, performing imaging studies, ensuring safety, and assisting with student training.

The student will rotate through general radiology areas, learn exposure factors, and maintain documentation in RIS/PACS. This is a trainee role with potential for professional growth and involvement in patient care.

Qualifications

• Current student from approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Must be within 4 months of graduation from approved program.
• Must obtain RT(R)(ARRT) certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for diagnostic radiology exams following department procedures.
• Operate radiology equipment and set exposure factors to produce quality images.
• Develop and archive images to PACS; present to radiologist for diagnosis.
• Assist with patient transport and training of Radiologic Technology Students.
