Responsibilities

• Validate patient identification prior to procedures
• Communicate with patient to obtain medical history pertinent to the procedure
• Verify working condition and settings of imaging equipment and room
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
• Maintain infection control and patient safety during imaging
• Assess image quality and contribute to QA processes
• Collaborate with department staff and participate in standby calls as needed
