Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in West Springfield, VA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform x-ray imaging and support patient care under the supervision of medical providers. The role requires ARRT registration, BLS, and state licensure as applicable, with experience in a clinical setting preferred.

You will collaborate with providers, manage patient flow, maintain records and QA/QC logs, and follow strict radiation safety protocols to ensure high-quality images and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
• ARRT registration required at time of hire.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required at time of hire (if applicable by state law).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to support patient care management and communication.
• Perform x-ray procedures and report results to Medical Providers.
• Maintain accurate patient records and QA/QC logs; assist with daily center operations.
• Adhere to ALARA and radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with rooming and patient flow.
