The Radiologic Technologist at Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, LLC will perform diagnostic radiologic procedures and support patient care across a busy urgent care setting in Chantilly, VA. Radiologic Technologist Compensation Hourly Range: $38.50–$47.50/hour
Shift Availability: Candidates must be willing to work between the hours of 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM, including coverage for a combination of the following shifts as needed: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups.
The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and/or Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for our Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers. In a collaborative manner, the Radiologic Technologist will provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
Responsible for x-ray services as needed. Under the direction of the clinical provider, perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use. May need to push patient in a wheelchair.
Inform technical staff of patient flow. Prepare patients for examination, which includes conducting interviews to verify patient information, record medical history; confirm purpose of visit; Perform preliminary physical test (blood pressure, weight, temperature, etc.) for vital signs and escalating critical cases to provider as needed. Conduct point of care testing as needed (i.e., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG); and provide patient information to provider.
Responsible for maintenance of medical records and scanning charts to patient files. Conduct courtesy call-backs for patient follow-up on care. Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed.
