Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Radiology Tech II for third shift (nights). You will perform general diagnostic imaging under physician direction, including patient positioning, equipment operation, and documentation. Grandfathered staff may be considered for ARRT registry.

A strong focus on safety and accuracy is required. Educational requirements include an Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or a trade school certificate, plus ARRT licensure and at least 1

• ARRT Certification/Licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies under physician supervision.
• Assist in patient positioning to demonstrate anatomy/pathology; operate radiology equipment and electronic radiology systems.
• Prepare patient room, equipment, and medications; maintain supply inventory and complete documentation.
