JOB DESCRIPTION

Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical and outpatient services. Job Summary

Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of body as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage as well as current and desired exposure time for each radiograph. This position is represented by SEIU.

Job Requirements

• Education and Work Experience: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent: Required
• Licenses/Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R): RequiredRadiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredFluoroscopy license in state of employment: RequiredFluoroscopy (FLUORO): Required
