Job summary

Primary Vascular Care in New York is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join our operating room team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on vascular procedures, image-guided interventions, and C-arm fluoroscopy support.

You will work with physicians and nurses in a fast-paced procedural environment, ensuring radiation safety, patient positioning, sterile technique, and quality imaging to support high-quality vascular care.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification is required.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional, vascular, or surgical imaging preferred.
• Experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy in an OR or procedural setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment during vascular procedures in the operating room.
• Assist physicians with image-guided vascular interventions including angiograms, angioplasty, atherectomy, and related procedures.
• Ensure proper radiation safety protocols for staff and patients.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist the procedural team as needed.
• Verify proper equipment setup, functionality, and imaging quality prior to procedures.
• Document imaging procedures in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and surgical staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.

Position Overview: Primary Vascular Care is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join our team on a per diem basis assisting with vascular procedures in the operating room. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment and has experience supporting physicians during image‑guided vascular interventions.

This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled vascular team.
