Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce high-quality images across multiple work locations on campus in Rochester, MN. The role requires flexibility with shifts, on-call pager needs, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

ARRT certification or eligibility is required, with extensive safety and patient care standards. Weekend and evening coverage may be required; relocation and relocation assistance may be available.

Produces high quality images that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Department. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Practices safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.

Qualifications

Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program.

Additional Qualifications:

• Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently.
• Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication.
• Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.

License or Certification

ARRT certified in Radiography or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date of employment.

CPR certified or obtained within 90 days of employment.
