Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Tucumcari, NM seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under radiologist supervision. You will operate imaging systems, ensure high-quality images and assist with patient care across registrations and procedures.

Role includes maintaining radiation safety, supporting clinical rotations, and collaborating with the care team to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Night shifts with 12-hour schedules offered in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Current NM Radiologic Technologist (RRT) license or temporary license required.
• ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred at hire; must obtain within 1 year if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using appropriate equipment and protocols.
• Operates and troubleshoots imaging equipment to ensure quality images and workflow.
• Provides basic patient care before, during and after procedures.
• Completes required documentation and performs clerical duties.
• Protects patient rights, privacy and confidentiality while delivering compassionate care.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Assists with orientation of new employees and supports clinical rotations.
• Maintains radiation safety and infection prevention per policies.
• Collaborates with Radiologists and healthcare team to support patient care.
