Job summary

Texas Health Dallas is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to work in diagnostic radiology across ER, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical areas. PRN as needed with holiday rotation. Requires ARRT within 6 months, GMRT by hire, and BCLS prior to independent care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.
  • GMRT certification through TDH or TMB by hire.

  • Minimum 1 year radiologic technologist experience; surgical imaging preferred.
  • Strong communication and computer skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment including DR rooms, fluoroscopy, C‑arms, O‑arm, and robotic systems.
  • Provide patient care during imaging procedures, ensuring safety and quality.
  • Communicate with patients and the medical team and document findings accurately.
  • Perform venipuncture as required.
  • Maintain equipment and assist with quality and processing tasks.

Position Overview

Texas Health Dallas, a LevelI Trauma Center and comprehensive stroke center, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (RADTech) to work in diagnostic radiology, covering the emergency department, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical areas. Work is PRN as needed with a holiday rotation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment including DR rooms, fluoroscopy, C‑arms, O‑arm, and robotic angiography systems.
  • Provide patient care during imaging procedures, ensuring safety and quality.
  • Communicate with patients and the medical team and document findings accurately.
  • Perform venipuncture as required (helpful skill).
  • Maintain equipment, assist with quality and processing tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology/X‑ray Technology upon hire.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist or X‑ray technologist experience preferred.
  • Experience in surgical imaging preferred.
  • Must obtain GMRT (General Medical Radiologic Technologist) through TDH or TMB by hire.
  • ARRT certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required prior to independent patient care and must be renewed quarterly.
  • Strong communication and computer skills are desirable.
