Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in inpatient radiology. The ideal candidate will be ARRT-recognized or registry-eligible with completion within 1 year and BLS certification.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a 40-hour work week. The position offers a pay range of $28.55 to $42.85 per hour, eligibility for benefits, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus ($10,000 for new graduates) for qualified

• Schedule Details/Additional Information: Full time, Monday through Friday (OR technologist)
• Pay Range: $28.55 - $42.85

You’ll Need

• Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required

Essential Functions

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.

Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist. Coordinates daily activities to include performing examinations and associated clerical duties.
