Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center – Radiology in Davie (NC). This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 6:30am–3pm, with occasional weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

Position Details

Department: 36398 Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center – Radiology. Status: Full time. Benefits Eligible: Yes. Hours Per Week: 40. Schedule Details/Additional Information: OR position Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm. Will also help cover PACU and some orthopedic and ED work, rotating holidays and occasional weekend work.

Pay Range: $28.55 - $42.85. This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (sign-on bonus $10,000 for new graduates), provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements.

Location: Davie Medical Center.

YOU’LL NEED

• Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS required
