Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and perform diagnostic imaging following established standards. You will provide patient services across neonatal to geriatric populations in a supportive clinical team.

The role emphasizes adherence to radiation safety policies, accuracy in protocol application, and patient education to ensure high-quality imaging and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• ARRT certification and BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provide patient services using imaging modalities.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all radiological procedures on patients of all age groups.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Maintains competencies for all related components.
• Adhere to the Radiation Safety Policies and the principles of a viable dose reduction program.
• Provides patient education and communications in accordance with prescribed standards.
