Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in College Station is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (PRN) to perform radiology procedures under a Radiologist supervision. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient safety, and adherence to protocols.

The Technologist will operate imaging equipment, ensure documentation is accurate, and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff while supporting the diagnostic workflow across shifts.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• Experience with radiology procedures and patient safety procedures.
• Ability to follow established exam protocols and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures per exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Adheres to radiation safety and infection-control policies.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET and builds rapport.
• Prepares patient and equipment, positions for imaging, and adjusts exposure factors.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet standards and keeps records up to date.
