Job summary

CareNow is seeking a Radiologic Technologist PRN to join our urgent care team. You will perform x-ray views per provider orders, document patient records, and assist with front desk duties to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate is ARRT-certified, a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Services program, and able to obtain state licensure if required. You may rotate across clinics and must follow infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required. State licensure may be required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Within 30 days of employment or promotion, must obtain and maintain state license (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clinic staff to deliver high-quality care and timely service.
• Perform all x-ray views per provider orders and document records per policy.
• Conduct in-house labs including drug screens and urinalysis; process specimens.
• Support front desk duties: greeting patients, check-in/out, and lobby interactions.
• Maintain, calibrate and perform controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily.
• Keep records and logs of in-house lab work, x-rays, and external lab submissions.
• Work with Center Manager and staff to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
• Follow infection control and hand hygiene policies.
• May rotate shifts or float to other clinic locations as needed.

Education

Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required.

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services

State licensure may be required
