Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and operate imaging equipment with a focus on patient safety and accurate documentation.

The role requires effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals, with licensure or ARRT eligibility as part of the onboarding process. BLS is expected within 30 days of hire and clinical hours completing a recognized program.

Qualifications

Position Details

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
• No experience required.
• State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry or registry eligible.
• Achieve ARRT registry within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating radiographic imaging equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
