Job description

Position Summary

Provides healthcare services by applying x‑ray energy to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients using radio/fluoroscopic procedures. Performs medical imaging techniques and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner.

Desired Professional Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrates competency and proficiency in the performance of all radiographic examinations and equipment in the assigned work area, including proper positioning of the patient and equipment, selection of appropriate image receptor, and radiographic techniques. Utilizes Digital Information Systems, Radiology Information System (RIS), and Synapse.
  • Identifies each patient and reviews requisitions to ensure consistency with the ordered examination, applying appropriate patient care and recognizing patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Reviews charts for exam referral/orders with special instructions.
  • Records patient history, performs and maintains all quality assurance/control records required by ACR, the State Department of Health Services, and other credentialing organizations. Verifies that procedures performed match those listed in the RIS and are coded properly.

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $25.00–$40.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location, etc. Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, including incentive and productivity programs, health & wellness coverage options, 401(k) benefits, and other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (subject to eligibility requirements).
