Radiologic Technologist - PRN
Performs radiologic procedures and utilize x-ray equipment to produce images of the body for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases or injuries, while ensuring optimum patient care and safety.
Certifications, Licenses, or Registration required:
Mississippi Radiologic Technologist license. BLS required within 90 days of hire date. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation physics and protection, and the principles of imaging. Skill in the use of imaging equipment. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to comply with radiation protection practices. Ability to alleviate patient anxiety.
