Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a Radiography Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic exams and support department quality and safety standards in Albuquerque, NM. The role requires maintaining equipment, developing films, and ensuring orderly, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• NM Radiography Technologist license (RRT) or temporary license required.
• ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains department policies, procedures, objectives and safety standards.
• Performs radiographic examinations.
• Checks equipment, supplies and accessories; maintains stock in each room.
• Develops film and assesses technical quality.
• Keeps work areas clean and orderly.
• Transports patients to radiographic rooms and prepares rooms.
• Pursues professional growth through education, literature, inservice meetings.
• Attends required meetings.

Education

Compensation Pay Range: Minimum Offer $25.85, Maximum Offer $44.00

Responsibilities:

• Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance, safety.


• Performs radiographic examinations.


• Checks equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular basis. Required to maintain required stock of supplies for each radiography room.


• Develops film including evaluating film for technical quality.


• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.


• Transports patients to radiographic room (at times also back to room or ER); prepares and maintains room.


• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings and workshops.


• Attends meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred. NM Radiography Technologist (RRT) License or Temporary license required. ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred at time of hire. Employee will have a period of 1 year to obtain ARRT certification. UPDATE: 3.5.2024
