Job summary

Trinity Health System in Dennison, OH is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic procedures at a technical level with limited supervision. The role includes coordinating exams and providing patient education, with responsibility for department operations in the absence of senior staff.

Eligible candidates will have AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education, ARRT registration, and an Ohio license, plus BLS certification if required.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program in an AMA-approved school.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or other recognized credentialing body.
• Must possess current Ohio license within area of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Completes level I diagnostic procedures.
• Assists physicians in the administration of various contrast agents.
• Able to perform all aspects of CR & PACS.
• Assists in unique procedures as requested.
• Coordinates multiple exams with all other modalities within Radiology.
• Provides education to patient and/or family members and practices patient safety guidelines.
• In the absence of Administrative Technologists, assumes responsibility for the department.
• Participates in the department's Quality Assessment and Improvement efforts by assessing procedures, practices and processes, and recommending change.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
