Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required and ARRT registration is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic principles, including positioning, image processing, and quality control.
• ND licensure required if practicing in North Dakota.
• Permits may be required to practice in Iowa; ARRT certification within 60 days for SD postings.
• BLS certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging examinations with attention to image quality.
• Ensures correct patient positioning per provider requests.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and protection practices.
• Navigates the EMR system effectively.
• Performs mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitoring, and DEXA procedures as needed.
