  • Submit/transmit X-ray images to Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Perform EKGs when needed and transmit to Cardiologist for interpretation.

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SQ Med Staffing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care by operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images. Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Performing radiographic examinations on patients as ordered by physicians.
  • Positioning patients correctly to obtain accurate images.
  • Adjusting and maintaining radiologic equipment to ensure clear and high-quality images.
  • Ensuring patient safety by following radiation safety protocols.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
  • Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Perform and process X‑Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation (if required).
Requirements
  • COVID 19 Vaccinated Required, Proof must be submitted in candidate packet at time of submission or candidate will be automatically declined.
  • Maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.

Physical Demands
  • Lift and position patients, possibly with assistance.
  • Stand for extended periods during patient examinations.
  • Maneuver radiologic equipment and accessories.
  • Bend, stoop, and kneel to position patients and equipment.
  • Maintain focus and attention to detail for prolonged periods.
Certification Requirement
  • Certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
State License Requirement
